Personality Test Analysis...

Basically just a way to list random facts about myself, really.

I am currently taking classes for a degree from Appalachian State University in Curriculum and Instruction. Being in school never seems to get old for me, though it can be overwhelming at times.

This week, we all took personality tests to see what kind of people we really are. I, of course, was not surprised to find out that I am a Controller/Organizer. Not only is it accurate, but I gave it to myself! I also know that people definitely perceive me as that type of personality. The professor recommended that we don't share these with our spouses, but I'm definitely interested in what my husband thinks about me so I can see if we both see me the same way. However, I get the feeling that Johnathan will peg me as much nicer than I think I am!

So, without further ado, some factoids:
1. I consider myself a snob. Most people know this about me. I have worked very hard to get where I am by doing just that: working. So maybe that comes across as stuck up, but I have earned everything I have.

2. I genuinely care about the important people in my life. This should not come as a surprise to anyone who really knows me. It's easy to write someone off with my personality as too abrasive to actually like people. But I teach, and that requires a large amount of people skills as well as patience. There may not be many people I am close to, but I will fight with every ounce of myself for those few.

3. I'm competitive. No shocker there, right? I love to watch sports and I kick butt at trivia most of the time. If it's a game, I'm in.

4. The snobby part of me really cares about labels. It's my shopping obsession. I like to spend my money on nice things, hence the pink blackberry pearl, coach purse and so on. My husband likes $60 games, I like $160 purses...we're even.

Work is going well, school is going well, but I am SO exhausted by the end of each week. But I have to admit that it's a great kind of exhaustion. I know that I'm giving my job and my academic pursuits everything I have, 110% day in and day out. That's fulfilling to me.

And my husband.

Gosh, I love him. He is the most supportive, kind, loving and patient person I have ever known. Johnathan is smart and successful and geeky in the cutest kind of way. He will be a wonderful father one day and we have a beautiful life together. I'm one lucky girl. Or snob. Or girly snob.

Who says you can't trust a personality test?
