Here we go again!

I have successfully completed my first two weeks of the new school year. I am amazed at the difference that returning to the same place makes :) My coworkers are just so fantastic, I couldn't be happier working anywhere else. I am also just a little emotional because some of my students in the past few years are finally SENIORS. I can't believe it. I'm so proud of them, and it's cool that they come back to visit and see what's happening in little 109, where they terrorized me in the last 2 years.

Football season has started, so that means BAND. We are having a great time with the kids this year (aside from the drama that is band parents). No major mishaps yet except for the wicked bruise on my leg from where I fell at band camp :(

Miss Macy the dog is as crazy as ever, but she is SO cute :)

I have also managed to spend some time with good friends Erin and Ashley. Ashley's wedding is next month (ah!) and I'm excited about a fun weekend in Raleigh in October. Johnathan and I will also be traveling to Greensboro on Halloween weekend to see lots of theatre at Erin's husband Matt hosts NCTC at his high school.

Hmmm...I think that says it all for now. August happened fast with school starting and everything else going on, but hopefully I'll carve out some time soon to post more exciting things. Hope your Labor Day weekend is filled with fun!
